This report is a collection of articles on different topics written by journalists from Egypt, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Sudan. Learn about invasive species in Ethiopia; women and climate change; different perspectives on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, and many other interesting topics.

The views expressed in the report of those of the individual journalists and do not necessarily reflect those of SIWI or the International Centre for Water Cooperation (ICWC), hosted by SIWI under the auspices of UNESCO.

The participating journalists belong to the Eastern Nile Journalist network, which is a group of dedicated journalists reporting on similar stories from across borders. The network started as a result of workshops for journalists organized by the International Centre for Water Cooperation (ICWC), hosted by SIWI under the auspices of UNESCO, and SIWI’s Shared Waters Partnership programme.
