Josephine Gustafsson
Josephine is a political scientist who specialises on water governance. She has worked in projects focused on integrated approaches to water resources management as well as research on water and food security. She contributes with her skills in natural resources management and her main expertise lies in linking water and environmental issues with policy analysis.
Prior to joining SIWI in 2010, Ms Gustafsson has worked with corporate sustainability and natural resources management in projects involving both private corporations, NGO’s and decision-makers. She has more than 8 years of experience in sustainability and her regional experiences include Asia, Africa, Europe and South America.
Josephine holds a Master’s in Environmental Management and Economics from Gothenburg University, as well as a Master’s in Political Science from Uppsala University, Sweden. A Swedish national, she speaks English, Spanish and Swedish.
