Josh holds a MsC from the Resilience Center at Stockholm University in Natural Resource Management and Governance. He has extensive experience working in China, Europe and globally on broad range of issues within water and environmental governance.

He is currently coordinating SIWI’s work under several EU programmes, including Policies, Innovations and Networks for China Europe Water Cooperation (PIANO) and NAture Insurance value: Assessment and Demonstration (NAIAD); and previously led assignments under the EU-China Policy Dialogue Support Facility and the EU-China Environmental Sustainability Programme. He is former managing editor and current editorial board member of Stockholm Water Front Magazine.
