Isabel Alvarez Murillo
Isabel’s professional background is in research, design, and management of international development projects in Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH), integrated water resources management and water and food security. Isabel has gained seven years of experience by working for intergovernmental organizations (FAO), non-governmental organizations, the private and academic sector in Ecuador, Canada, Italy and currently Sweden.
She is currently involved in the development of technical notes on WASH response to COVID-19, Climate Resilient WASH, governance regional studies on SDG6, remote support for the implementation of WASH response to COVID-19, support the design of Integrity Assessment Tool and integrity indicators for regulators in the monitoring and evaluation of WASH service providers, facilitation of workshops and trainings of focal points in Latin America and the Caribbean.
She speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
