The growing water crisis is humanity’s next big challenge. In this film, SIWI explains how it will change the way we live and do business. SIWI works across the globe to put the world on track towards a more water wise future. Here are some ways you can join the movement.
In 2030, half the global population will live in water scarce areas and global demand for freshwater will exceed sustainable supply by 40 per cent. We must quickly learn to manage water much more efficiently and fairly.

SIWI works actively with actors who want to find new solutions and hosts World Water Week, the world’s premier networking event for the water-interested community. In its 29th year, World Water Week 2019 will take place in the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm end of August. SIWI is embarking on a multi-year process to evolve World Water Week into the world’s most influential movement transforming global water challenges.
