It is the amazing content that has made World Water Week the leading annual water event. Every year, well-known international organizations submit proposals for sessions they want to organize during World Water Week. The review process at SIWI will start in March, with a screening of the applications we have received until 7 March.
Accepted proposals that were submitted no later than 7 March enjoy our special Early-Bird price but we accept proposals until 31 May.
So, why host a session during World Water Week 2021?
For starters, it is a great opportunity to contribute to building resilience faster, which is the theme of this year’s event. The global pandemic has exposed how vulnerable our societies are. Many of the biggest threats we see are related to water – climate change, poverty, and health, for example. At World Water Week, you can present your solutions, network, and pick up on recent trends.
To learn more about how to become a session organizer, we have collected a series of frequently asked questions – check them out here. The FAQs are continuously updated based on questions and feedback that we receive. Questions and answers were for example added after we recently held webinars for potential convenors.
