Call for abstracts opens for World Water Week 2021
The nine scientific seminars of World Water Week offer an important opportunity for researchers and practitioners to explore topics related to the year’s theme Building Resilience Faster. World Water Week 2021 (23-27 August) will address one of the most important challenges facing mankind: the climate crisis. The theme of World Water Week 2021 is Building Resilience Faster, with a focus on concrete solutions to the world’s greatest water-related challenges, starting with the climate crisis and including water scarcity, food security, health, biodiversity, and impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The thematic scope lays the foundation for the nine seminars that are developed by World Water Week’s Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) together with leading convening organizations. Here you can learn more about the nine seminars that will be held in 2021.
The seminars combine high-quality academic papers and interesting keynote speakers to ensure vibrant and innovative discussions. All submitted papers must relate to a specific seminar – read more here about the admissions process and how to apply. It is the Scientific Programme Committee that selects the papers that are presented, based on the abstracts’ content and innovation.
To present in the scientific seminars you do not need the backing of an organization and it is a great opportunity to share your research with a wide audience of experts, professionals, and decision-makers. It also gives you a chance to network with experts within your field which might lead to future research collaboration, project development or funding opportunities.
