Valuing Water – Launch of Interfaith Statement on Water and Faith

Faith and spirituality are foundational sources and drivers of behaviour; shaping and inspiring individual and community worldviews, priorities, daily rituals and community structures – including relationship to and value of water resources.

The Cluster Group on Water and Faith serves as a platform to build bridges between the water community and faith-based organisations to raise awareness and strengthen implementation for improved water governance. Since 2018, the Swedish based cluster group has gathered representatives from different faith-based traditions and organisations to together explore ways to foster a deeper understanding of the importance of sustainable water use.

This online event is the launch of the joint interfaith statement from the Swedish based Cluster Group on Water and Faith. The statement calls for joint actions to foster awareness and work for a change of attitude to achieve a sustainable and just management of our water sources and the entire ecological system.
We welcome you to join the discussion and support the joint statement.
